Rustica

Rustica Singapore is one of those rare cafés where thoughtful design, honest cooking, and local pride come together seamlessly. Helmed by Chef Adrian Chu — an alum of Michelin-starred Labyrinth and the Culinary Institute of America — Rustica brings a refreshing farm-to-table concept to Singapore's café scene, with a menu that champions produce grown and raised right here at home.
Menu highlights include the Laksa Puff, a beancurd skin stuffed with prawn paste and drenched in laksa gravy; the Cereal Fish Bun, a bao with local snapper fillet and herb mayo; and the Mushroom Murtabak, made with locally grown Lionmane stuffed in crispy prata, alongside a potato curry. There’s also desserts like Ondeh Ondeh Tart and Apam Berkuah which add a sweet finish rooted in tradition.
Rustica proudly sources from local farms such as Ah Hua Kelong, GreenLoopFarms, and Golden Cap Mushroom Farm — and it’s not just a marketing line. The quality shines through in every dish. Even the drinks are thoughtfully chosen: coffee from Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee and teas from The 1872 Clipper Tea Co.
If you’re looking to reconnect with Singaporean ingredients in a relaxed, soulful setting, Rustica is well worth the visit. It’s more than just a café — it’s a quiet celebration of what “local” can taste like when done right.
