Microgreen Care FAQ

Where is the best place to store live greenloopfarms microgreens indoors?

Place your microgreens in a cool area in your home with good light. A bright windowsill or well lit corner works well, as long as it does not get too hot in the afternoon.

How often should I water my live greenloopfarms microgreens?

Every 2 days, place the pots in a shallow tray of water for about 30 seconds, then let them drain. Keep the cocopeat moist, not waterlogged, and try to avoid getting the leaves wet.

What is the proper way to harvest live greenloopfarms microgreens?

Use a clean pair of scissors and snip the stems just above the soil line.

How many days do live greenloopfarms microgreens last before they need to be harvested?

With good light and gentle watering, your microgreens can stay happy for about 5 to 10 days from the day you receive them.

Do I need to wash pesticide-free greenloopfarms microgreens before eating them?

Not necessarily, but you may rinse the harvested microgreens in clean, cool water just before serving. Pat dry gently before consuming.

What if my microgreens start to yellow or droop?

First, check the light and water. Move them to a brighter, cooler spot and water if the cocopeat is dry. If they still look tired, it is a sign to harvest the healthy parts, give them a rinse and enjoy them soon in salads, sandwiches or as a garnish.
